"Sketch" chronicles The TriPhidumphs, one of many struggling comedy troupes fighting for their place in the Mecca of improvisational comedy that is Chicago. The troupe consists of Kevin, the leader, Matt, the wild card, Kit, the gifted lesbian, and Trey, the token black guy. After three years of performing to a loyal midnight following, but never to mainstream audiences, Kevin decides to go for the brass ring and add the one thing the troupe would need to push them over the top. A super hot ingenue to stand front and center as the final bit of typecasting that plays to the mainstream audience.
