"Welcome Back to the Barrio" chronicles college student Christian returns home to the barrio to visit his family but when he reunites with his childhood friend Angel, the two embark on a night of fun that turns to trouble when a gang leader (Tito) confronts Angel about dealing drugs in his hood. At a wild party, Christian is tempted by the abundance of drugs and beautiful women and his values are tested. After a momentary lapse, Christian tries to end his friendship with Angel but is torn when he learns his younger brother is now involved with the gang. Caught in the middle of a violent series of events, Christian must put his own future on the line as he decides how to protect his family and try to save his best friend from a tragic destiny.
